Jerome Weisner
Mr. Kissinger
6-4-69 5:45 PM
W said he showed letter which Kistiakowsky worked on to K the last
time they saw one another. W gave it to Killian and he thought he should
not sign it - he is sensitive about W's relationship with Teddy. W said
he then talked to George who did not want to be identified with W alone.
W said he could sign it himself, let Killian and Kistiakowsky sign it, or
throw it away and asked K what he thought. W said he did want to be
helpful to the President inx in connection with NPT. K said
whoever signs it, it will get to the President. W asked if he signed it
whether the President WO uld read it. K said yes, Pres certainly does
not dislike W. W agreed to do that then. W said he would like a chance
to talk to the President sometime - he was very impressed with RSCxxx
PSAC meeting. K said let's see if we can arrange it for sometime in
July.
