Mr. Kissinger
12:47 p.m., September 10, 1969
Mr. Kissinger said due to a goof-up here, he had missed the
motorcade to the Dirksen funeral service and wondered if R were
still free for lunch.
R said for reasons he would explain later, he had better go ahead
with the alternative arrangements he had made after lunch w/K
had been cancelled. He asked if K could have breakfast on Saturday.
K said he didn't know if he would be town and suggested Thursday
at 7:45, providing Haldeman doesn't call a staff meeting (which K
said Haldeman had in the back of his mind. )
They agreed to meet for breakfast at State at 7:45 a. m. on Thursday,
September 11.
NOTE:
This was later cancelled. K got word that there
would be a big 4' staff meeting at 8:00 a. m. on
Thursday.
