Peterson understood K was going to clear the list for the Task
Force XX last Tuesday. It is impossible to meet the February
deadline unless the committee can be formed. K understood
and had just had a chance to discuss it with the President.
They discussed the names.
K is to call David Rockefeller to ask him to be on the committee
and also Tom Shelling of Harvard. He will be the Chairman(?).
K would get one of his staff members to call Parker.
Peterson wanted to put out the initial announcement tomorrow
and asked K's approval which he received.
