    "ocrText": "Telecon\nSecretary Laird\n3:25 p. m. 10/13/69\nK said the President wanted him to call L to tell him that there is\ngoing to be a release at 4:00 tomorrow by the President announcing\nthat he will address the nation on November 3. Wanted L to under-\nstand that there will be no more public comments from Defense or\nState until then. Wanted to tell L; didn't want him to read it on a\nticker. L asked no more speeches? ; cancel all our speeches? K\nsaid that have to do with Vietnam. There is to be no further com-\nment on Vietnam until he has spoken. He won't make any comments\nuntil then, and he doesn't want anyone else to.
