    "ocrText": "Telecon\nSecretary Laird\n9:10 a. m. 10/24/69\nLaird wanted K to know that the menu has been laid on for all week.\nThey have identified some targets but they aren't good wnes. in the DMZ.\nLaird said there may be problems since there are some reporters\nwandering around the DMZ and they will probably hear this -- he wanted\nto caution K. They decided that two days would be plenty and that they\ndidn't have to be anything big. At least, Laird said, they will know they\nhave been hit.\nLaird said this would follow Rogers press conference. K said what\npress conference. Laird said isn't he having one on Sat. to make the\nannouncementm K said his understand was that Rogers would background\nafter the announcement had been made at the White House. Laird thought\nthat would be good and it should be that way.
