L said he'd never forget Smith on the Seabed thing--he said to the P he'd
wait three years if he had to; three weeks later he came back with the
paper, and said you're committed, Mr. President. L said he talked with
Senator
and he said he hopes we've got a few Asians on that
negotiating team. (laughter.)
