K said right.\nR said on page 13, under B2--resignation to Arab-Israeli clask. K said that's\nwrong. R said it doesn't take care of our relations with the Arabs. R said\non the bottom of the page\n11\nIsraelis to accept\n11 R said what\nhappens then with regard to our policy of supplying arms and other assistance\nto Israel. K said that's what these people don't think through. R said that's\nall.\nK said in distributing this, do you prefer that I didn't indicate I discussed\nit with you. R said yes. K said he would simply say this is an NSC docu-\nment--jus tto help focus on discussion, okay? R said yes, this is not\ninconsistent--just another memo being sent to Rogers. K said right--one\nother thing. K said did you see about calling the 6-month truce to let us\nget our troops out. R said no. K said he saw it on the news ticket; it\nsaid the cease-fire could be permanent if we call our troops out. K said\ndo you want to ask Marshall or Bill to get over some suggested answers.\nK said we obviously can't accept this, but if they would like to suggest some\nanswers that would be appreciated.
