8 said we met briefly at Barbara Howar's party for Gloria Steinem.
B said she had been brooding about asking this: B would like K's par-
ticipation in a series called "Men Talking About Women. 11 K said I
don't do that. B said there would be no names mentioned. K said
you are sweet and I appreciate it, but I never make any comments
of that sort. [B named people who had been in the series. ] K said he
is sure it is worthwhile, but he never speaks on the record on any sub-
ject.
