Governor Dewey
1/9/70 5:00 p.m.
D: Lucius and I were comparing calendars for that day of
reading in the White House. We think the best day is January 30, unless
you think there is any reason to come sooner.
K: No, January 30 would fit in well.
D: It's convenient from your standpoint?
K: Yes. It would be good if after your reading I could
be available to answer questions.
D: The only day I can do it without worrying about getting
back for el dinner commitment is the 30th.
K: Will you do it during the day?
D: Yes, and stay until we both are through.
K: Let's say the 30th. My schedule is always a little un-
predictable this far ahead, but the day looks good now.
D: Find, and there's no reason for meeting sooner?
K: Not right now.
D: I promised Dean Acheson I'd call him X.
K: I believe Dean will be in Antigua
D: Then I'm off the hook.
K: Why don't we have lunch, the three of us?
hucius
D: Dear wants to have lunch with his son.
K: Then the 2 of us.
Lucius
D: Fine. I'll check with Dear, but the 2 of us for sufe.
K: Good.
D: How's everything with you.
