Rostow 1/13/70 page 3 R: Another thing about the American Historical thing - - after it was over they spent 3/4 of an hour talking to me. They found somebody who stood for something. I was cheerful K: What this country is dying for is people with some conviction. It drives the kids crazy--people who've taken the clock apart and say they can't put ti back together again. R: Right.
