K: I thought it was/very effective press conference and SO did every-
one else.
P: The questions were SO long and complicated. Julie told me there
were 18--about 5 more than any other P has answered.
K: Every press conference has its purpose. This press conference
showed you are in command and had mastery.
P: I couldn't just say yes or no.
K: You had to explain. Most people don'tknow what area defense
is
You had to explain, or most of the viewing audience would have
been lost. But the answers didn't seem wordy. John and Bob thought it
was good.
P: All right.
K: Congratulations, Mr. President.
