K: How are you
B: Much better
K: I enjoyed dinner
B: So did I
K: IWas wondering if you were interested in talking about the Wilson visit
at some point. There's nothing world shaking. But if I were going to
with
discuss it I would discuss it/yxxx you.
B: Do you want me to come to your office?
K: Yes, I wasn't angling for dinner.
B: You will receive a letter from Giles asking you to dinner with Howar.
K: Oh, my God. She's interesting but I'd have Maxine Cheshire on
my back for weeks. I will see Giles at dinner at the Alsops. Whatdoes
he want?
B: He wants to see the President.
K: I think that's impossible.
B: Lord Thompson may come later in the spring. III e is more important
to me. I would rather work to get him in.
K: He certainly couldn't see both.
B: So long as you have some time with Frank. Apart from the dinner.
K: Well, I will do my best. I certainly want to see him.
B: When do you suggest we get together?
K: We won't need a long time. I sometimes have a whole group in but
I don't feel like doing that.
B: This afternoon I asked him what he thought of the Nixon doctrine to
Europe. He didn't understand SO I had to explain it to him. It must have
cost the BBC 100 pounds the second.
