Haldeman/Kissinger 8:00 pm 3/9/70 -2- H: Ron and A1 did a great job. K: I think so too. H: How was your journey? K: It was useful for the SALT discussions. Did I call you? H: No, I was just checking on you. K: Is the President's mood OK? H: He was never disturbed about this and got concerned about the specifics. He didn't have anything else to do today, SO it gave him something to concentrate on. He was very pleased with the way it was pulled together and wasn't concerned when it started falling apaprt. You can never be sure they are giving you the truth. K: That's what we should have been careful of. Can you let me see him in the morning? We have an Israeli problem. H: Another one? OK, there should be time clear after his 8:30 meeting before his 10:00 appointment. K: If you could give me 15 mins.
