K: I just had a call from Beecher and Frankel . He has a full order on that
134 plan detail.
L: The 134 dealt?
K: On the DMZ.
L: You mean last night?
K: And the night before. Hetalked to Haig. It's not protective reaction and was
authorized at the same time as Fish Hook.
L: I don't know how he picks that up. Did you talk to Buz?
K: Just this minute. He said subject to my talking to you we should put a hold
on the other 3.
L: I think we should say we had a plane shot down there. I had better let Hencken
handle this.
K: We will not handle this here.
L: That was -- there must be -- are you sure everything is all right? I cannot
believe it came out of the General Staff. I have not told Hencken.
