K: All hell is breaking loose on this exercise north of the DMZ. Someone leaked
Figures. The President figures since he is taking heat he might as well continue.
He wants to be sure that if they ask you tomorrow you don't know the details and
Defense can give the details but our policy is protective. Anything that shoots
at us we will fire back. We stone wall it coldly. It won't give you too much pain.
V: Not a bit.
K: The President feels he has crossed his Rubicon.
V: I'm glad you called me.
K: I knew it was not necessary but he asked me to call you.
