L: They have talked to people all over the country. These guys have met every
day for 10 months.
K: Have you seen the report?
L: No. I think the thrust of the report you should have some understanding of.
I'm being briefed tomorrow and you should be and the President shouldxt
talk to the Chairman. Should I write you a memo?
K: Drop me a note. About the President's meeting, drop me a note.
L: I should not be there. They will rais hell -- the procurement people and
a hell of a lot of other things. This reorganization plan to make the Dept. more
effective and I think you should be aware of it. I will write you a little note
so you don't forget about it.
