P: One other we said before. We announced 150, 000 additional troops by
next spring.
K: We should say during next spring. Or by next May 1. During next spring
is better.
P: Don't pin ourselves down. If we say by it means the first of the spring.
K: Laird will make it March 21.
P: Will you have that change made on Page 9? I announced 150, 000 troops would
be home during the spring of next year. Got it?
K: I have it.
P: During the spring of nextyear. Let's be sure that in the early part we
have said it precisely.
K: I caught it in the early part, I think
P: I said on April 20 I would announce the withdrawal of 150, 000 troops within
a year. That's not bad. April 20 - April 20x. Instead of during the srping
why not say --
K: By May 1.
P: I don't want to pin that down. Why don't we say within a year. Instead of
spring of next year say within a year.
K: The second to be consistent with the first.
P: That's only 10 days off. If they say April 20 or May 1 we will say,
fellows you won't hold us to 10 days, will you?
K: I will get it done.
