K: Everybody is watching whether we have one more airplane than we said. R: Anyway, on SALT, there is nothing more you can tell me? K: I don't think I should. It is not an epic struggle between forces of good and forces of evil. R: You're on what side? K: True to my position, I am on both. I think we have it nailed? down to a range that's decideable.(? ) R: You mean decideable by the President. K: We have made harder ones. R: Not for the Friday meeting? K: Friday was never one of our target dates. R: Let me ask you one question about the Middle East. Where are the Russians on this? Are they on board or waiting? K: I think the latter.
