K: If it's not escalated. We have accepted advisors, We have to look at the whole.
The line is hard to draw.
F: If this kind of permanent beefing up is part of a settlement we cannot buy that,
K: If they do, how can a settlement work? If the Israeli's have to withdraw from
????? ? and we face the situation of a permanent Soviet presence there,
F: Is the Suez important to them? If they got the Suez out of it?
K: We don't despair of a - - what we are doing is geared toward diplomacy, It is
not

F: And the psychology of Israel, will they let us go on this type of thing?
K: That's what we are trying to gain time for, I think SO if they feel their
existence isn't threatened,
F: Have there been Russian casualties?
K: Probably. They aren't saying.
F: They are not making an issue of it?
K: No.
