Rose Woods
W: He's excited about your going to the Bohemian Grove. He told
me to tell you what they wear. Has anyone told you?
K: No. How do I get the girls in?
W: I don't know about that. About the clothes: sports shirts and
sweaters--nothing fancy. And he said it is fairly cold up there at
night so you should take a coat. He's treating you like a son; this is
cute. When you speak, wear a sport shirt and coat, but never a tie.
You can wear the shirt upen at the neck or as he usually does, closed.
He thinks you should give them the same sort of speech you gave the
editors, but more philosophical because these things do not ever get
reported.
K: I wonder whether he thinks I;m going tomorrow?
W: I wonder too. He buzzed me and then buzzed you and when you
weren't there he called me back and asked me to tell you these things.
But you're not going till the 24th?
K: No.
W: Well, he11 see you around. He also said when you speak, they
will say about 30 minutes, but no longer than 35 minutes--apparently
they have a rule. He's passing on all these thoughts to you.
K: He's great.
W: And I leave it to you to get the girls in.
K: I guess I can last till I get back to Beverly Hills.
