Z: I was calling to ask your frank view as to whether the level
of detail was appropriate.
K: Yes, I thought you made the best presentation, and I said SO
to Admiral Moorer. To be quite honest, I thought one was too parochial
and the other was too superficial. Yours was just right.
Z: Thank you. One other thing: on this Blue Ribbon Defense Panel,
the only thing I'm concerned about is I don't think I'm going to be able to
do a formal paper on it but I remain concerned akunkxxxxxxxx from where
I stand
K: Let Admiral Robinson tell you about the way these things are
handled. You mean on the JCS side?
Z: Yes.
K: That's serious. Can't you get me an unsigned paper so I have
your views?
Z: Yes, I can do that.
K: Why don't you do that? I'm more interested to have your views
than the formal paper.
