K: What's our position of the volunteer army.
C: We are against the Hatfield amentment.
K: So I can say the WH is against it.
C: Yes. When we talked to Ken Belieu and Belieu was to see Stennis and
we said the way to fight this was not ? ? ? ? but on a procedural issue -- that
is, it's far too important for the Senate to talk about without having hearings
on this. You have to say we are for it but it's so important we need to have
hearings.
K: Stennis wants to know what the game is and will only taxke take it from me .
C: Belieu was supposed to talk to him.
K: No one listens to Belieu. I understand.
