E: The general purpose is to see people in the Jewish community
in NY to answer our relationship with Israel. You know the story about our not
being helpful anymore.
K: I would like to see you for lunch with you are in Wash. How can I get your
exact schedule?
E: We are just working it out. I wanted to ask XX for your suggestions.
K: Do you want me to make appointments?
E: I don't know if I should bother you.
K: If your embassy needs help, tell them to come to me.
E: If you have any questions on your side I will prepare myself very carefully.
K: I know the official situation. I know and trust you. I would like your
personal impressions on where things are going. I have talked to Bahr and I
know his views.
E: D will be in touch with you and I will tell my embassy to be in touch with you.
K: I have sent you a note on Henry Brandon.
E: He will get an appointment. Question of coming here and seeing me? You
wrote me a letter.
K: Don't tell him anything you do n't want generally known but within those
limits he is trustworthy.
E: That's good to know. I hope to see you.
K: You won't be able to avoid me.
