Osmer/Kissinger evening 9/10/70 -2- O: Both but more friendly. IHe was very interesting. He thinks you are the right man in the right place and the right job. I will call you after I get it. K: I think he flipped his lid last year. I would like to work with him. O: He is still coming down to see someone. K: But not at the important level. He is probably the brightest man at Harvard in my field. O: He talked about the Crimson article. I will call you next week when I have the transcript. K: Relax about it. O: That's easier said than done. K: Just relax now. O: Will you? K: I have SO many other problems. I dian't like it when it happened but there's nothing I could do. O: The think I thought of at the end of the day, in the final analysis all we have is a picture with here hands over her face and if I can, I will not use it. K: I understand. And if you get Mike mad he will take it out another way. O: He will get sticky on it. The other man is SO impressed on the rest and he asked if I thought we need that and I said no. We cause more problems. I can't promise anything. K: Just relax. O: And I will leave you alone. K: Let me hear from you. Do call me. O: I will call you when I have Shelling's thing. If you insist that I have never called you. K: I don't go around telling things that are told to me in confidence. O: That's true. I should not have said it. K: I look forward to hearing from you.
