S: What is your schedule like today and tomorrow? Are you going to Calif. ?
K: Tomorrow night or Friday morning.
S: I have a deputy foreign minister of Saudi Arabia. Would you agree to see
him? Only kleex sensible Saudi Arabian.
K: Be glad to. We are having a missile meeting tomorrow. Laird is saying
the same thing as Dave. If he says it privately, you know he will say it publicly.
S: He is the greate$ leaker they have over there.
K: We are having a meeting tomorrow and get a paper from the intelligence
community and send it to every department and say this is it and say every
department is responsible for it. Lairs is saying we have never seen any new
missiles ther but unless they came out of the sand, they have to have new ones.
S: When is the meeting?
K: In the situation room. Will you be there?
S: Of course.
K: Senior Review Group plus you, Cline, Bennett and Helms.
S: One other thing. I gather you have done nothing about Noyes.
K: He is a disaster. He can't be worse than Pranger thought.
S: We will live with it. Let me put it this way. Shall I try to work out
something for tomorrow? Once you commit yourself this guy will come back
from San Francisco.
K: Wait until this afternoon. Maybe I should see him on the West Coast.
S: No, he is coming back. Let me know and give me a specific time and he
will accommodate himself to your schedu. e.
