I have a question. When I was in the States, we missed
seeing each other and I had hoped we would have a talk
and Guido Goldman told me you had the same feeling.
I would like to see you rather quickly. Could I see you
this weekend?
K:
How about Monday?
E:
Well, we could do that but the weekend would be easier.
K:
I could see you at 9:00 am or 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Monday would be a little bit better.
E:
If Monday is better, let's take Monday.
K:
Do you want to do it in my office?
E:
Yes. That will be fine.
K:
Will that be only you or your Ambassador too?
E:
Just me. I have not told the Ambassador about requesting
this meeting.
K:
Your Ambassador is coming in today. I have heard that
you think I have had private conferences with Strauss.
That is not true. I want you to understand it was dinner
with about 20 guests and I did not know who was on the
guest list before I went.
E:
We know that. No, that is not the problem.
K:
Alright. Shall we say 12 Noon on Monday? And I will make
no announcement here.
E:
We won't either.
