TELECON
Ambassador Lucet/Mr. Kissinger
12:25 p. m., February 18, 1971
L:
Good morning, Henry. I have one matter. I had a call
from Mrs. Hunnebelle.
K:
She is your national. She wants you to give a dinner?
L:
She wants to be received by the President.
K:
She is your national. I have nothing to do with her. There
is no chance that the President will receive her.
L:
That is what I told her; but I told her I would be in touch
with you.
K:
I think it's out of the question. Let her call Ziegler. I
will certainly not get myself involved.
L:
I understand that very well, but she is on the phone twice
a day.
K:
It is not a foreign policy problem, and she is not a personal
problem of mine. I wish her well.
L:
I shall leave it with Ziegler.
K:
I won't do a thing.
L:
Thank you very much. I will talk to you soon.
