TELECON Mr. Kissinger/Joan Braden 10:35 a. m., February 25, 1971 K: Joan, how are you? B: Henry, it's you. My houseman doesn't speak very good English. I'm fine. I didn't have a chance to thank you. You were sweet to send flowers. K: Will you shut up. I'm very fond of you. It was a very nice evening. B: Wasn't it fun? I did think it was fun. K: I have some acquaintances from Beverley Hills coming into town tomorrow -- Doug Cramer. He's head of Paramount TV productions. His wife is Joyce Haber. B: I know her. K: Can you and Tom join us for dinner at the Jockey Club? I am having Valenti and others. B: We would love to, but we have to go to Fred Harris's for dinner. It's one of those things. What time? Are you having drinks at home first? If you do we might come -- you can call me late. I think dinner is at 8:00 there. Really I'm sorry -- I would love to. I'm so pleased you came last night. We must further our conversations about certain people who were there lastnight. K: Yes. B: Thank you and I'm sorry. K: See you soon. lds
