Not as heavy as it was.\nK: In the battle areas the situation has slackened off. Abrams has airlifted\na ranger battalion in further than they have been and another near Tchepone.\nHe is going forward on his plan. I feel they might as well go for broke.\nThey\nP: Go in and if they can't takex it, get out.\nThat could be close to breaking\nas much az the SVN.\nK: No matter what happens on the supply lines if we win S. Laos they can\nrefit themselves in 2-3 years but then we will be out.\nP: SVN are holding their own but because of domination in the air.\nK: In Cambodia they are 75% doing it themselves.\nP: I think you should put a hell of a lot of emphasis on air. Training is needed.\nK: Good strategy for us to keep a lot of air power until '72 and pull it outat\nthe end. Air power get's into less trouble at home.\nP: If the POW s are in there.
