L: It doesn't need to be more than four months in advance, and we are
keeping the schedules im more than two to four months. The
problem is it's easier to put it in than to take it out. Not we've got not only
the Department of Agriculture there and but the GAO under mandate from
the Senate and House.
K: But if we generate this idea of a massive withdrawal the whole thing
will be down the drain.
L: I'm not one of these pessimistic ones around town. I'm optimistic.
K: I think we may have an opening in the negotiations this year if we
just keep our cool this summer. After this summer we've got to go the
other way.
K: But you're not having any problems
L: I have no problems with you. I sent that transcript over, what I
said. I don't know what more there is to say.
K: Unless we just say we won't say any more till the President has spoken.
L: Okay.
K:
And we'll have you, MAKXR Moorer, Rogers
L: Yes, I'll send over to you an advance copy.
K: Good. If I could have it Tuesday and have the meeting Friday.
L: My problem is that Monday and Tuesday I am on the Hill all the time.
I'11 try to get it over Tuesday or Wednesday.
