So we have everything that he's got to say\nand he's heard k everything the President has to say.\nM: OK\nK: So, the President feels that we shouldn't see him this time though if he's\nstill in Washington next week, I'll be glad to seehim.\nM: All right,\nK: He is in Washington tomorrow, I know.\nM: How shall I -- I'll just advise\nlet it go at that.\nK: That's right and I'll be working with Moorer who's hosting him about whether\nI can -- whether he'll be there long enough for me to see him.\nM: I would believe that probably that channel would be good enough to XXXX\nimpress upon them that we are looking for some action toward reform. It\nisn't necessary for the President to do this.\nK: That's right.\nM: All right.\nK: The President feels X it would be misinterpreted if he saw him. It would\nlook as if he's going in bed with them and if he says publicly he did it in order\nto urge them to reform he's putting too much heat on them.\nM: All right, I think that's probably as good a judgment as any on both sides.\nI'11 advise Pappas and he'll advise Tasca the reasons for it and if he's here\nnext week and your back, he can see you.\nK: Right. Good. I'll be keeping in touch with you, John, about any developments\nout here.\nM: All right, sir.
