K: I still regret that we have never had a chance to talk.
G: I know how busy you are.
K: Let me know when you are XIX in Washington and we will get together for
lunch, breakfast, or dinner.
G: I will be happy to.
K: The President wanted me to give you a brief call to tell you that with all
the hysteria on TV and in news on Axx Laos, we feel we have set up everything we E
set out to do. Destroyed more supplies then in Cambodia last year. Set them
back many months. It's our judgment that we have kept them from a major
defensive this year and from launching one next year. We achieved what we were
after. We wanted you to know.
G: I appreciate it very much. I will be in Washington about Easter time and I will
be back and forth. In the East and West many times. I will give your secretary
a list of dates and perhaps we can get together.
K: That will be fine.
G: I deeply appreciate that.
