Mr. Kissinger/Mrs Carl Taylor
11:28 p. m. , April 7, 1971
K:
Hello, Mrs. Taylor.
T:
Hello.
K:
This is Mr. Kissinger, Assistant for National Security Affairs to
the President. He asked me to call you and apologize for using
your name but he felt he wanted to do this to make his point and
he hoped that you weren't hurt.
T:
I was rather shocked but very proud.
K:
He was very moved by what your husband did and your sons and
he just wanted me to tell you that it reflected great courage.
T:
I appreciate his calling and appreciate his even mentioning the
children, myself and my husband.
K:
Goodbye, Mrs. Taylor.
