V: But in principle you would be ready?
K: Yes. I don't want to do it at the start. I don't want to be
there as a defender of the Administration. But I suppose that there will
be enough critical comments or at least enough questions raised that
later on I could straighten things out or make some positive statements.
V: But everyone understands that you want to relax.
K: I will make some positive comments for, what do you think,
10 minutes or so? Do I have to decide now?
V: No, I only want to know if in principle you will talk.
K: I will certainly say something.
V: Good, and if you decide to hell with it you want to relax, we
will understand.
K: No, I will talk.
V: And we will have half an hour or breakfast together. It has
been so long since we have talked.
K: I am counting on that. But I leave it to you. I haven t
made any appointments with anyone there.
V: And then we can fix
In June I will come to Washington
so we can have a quiet evening
he is coming the week after
Bilderberg.
K: I may be on the West coast then.
V: We'll see.
K: But anything I can do for him here will be eager to do.
V: We'll discuss that this weekend.
K: Good.
