Secretary Rogers/ Mr. Kissinger
5:45 p.m., April 21, 1971
- 3 -
K:
Just give me a good man in return.
R:
How about Armen Meyer?
K:
He has not been all that successful in impressing people
coming through Japan.
R:
The Governors think he is wonderful.
K:
I sort of liked him.
R:
He's pretty good. He didn't fit in with the Orientals. He is
not particularly subtle or clever, but he's pretty good on public
relations.
K:
He is a more experienced fellow than Marshall Wright.
R:
If I should decide -- there's no rush -- I will talk to you about
it first.
K:
Okay, Bill.
