K: If someone said there are great risks either way and we have come up with this
course and think it's best and others think other course is best then we have a serious
debate. But who is for and against war then you have nothing. The demonstrators
didn't even know we have offered a ceasefire. If the Senators would say we have made
offers and including a ceasefire -- I think our national trauma on VN will happen when
it's over. Wxecaxexsek The war will end. It will end either in defeat or the
other way. We are not talking about 10 years any more.
B: A short time. Do you still think as you once said that this war will X wind up
on the negotiating table?
K: I am the only guy in Wahsington who thinks that.
B: You have been helpful.
K: Don't get me involved. You are honorable. Hope to see you soon.
