Noticed in the Star last night DOD is beginning to leak out
what they are doing on narcotics treatment. The President doesn't
need for DOD to prescribe on a remedy. We have hired an expert
and he will tell DOD through the President what to do. Don't let
DOD get locked in.
K:
You are kidding.
E:
I am serious.
K:
Okay.
E:
I am hopeful that we can save Laird some embarrassment in
this.
K:
Until we fire somebody, we haven't a prayer.
E:
I am ready. I am doing what I should
working through you.
I would appreciate it if you could pass it along. If necessary get a
directive out.
K:
Why don't you write out a directive and I will sign it.
