Mr. Haldeman
H: We are going to hold up Froehlke until we get agreement on BeLieu.
He lied to me about the BeLieu thing. My intention is to go to the mat
with him on it.
K: He says he'll give BeLieu the Navy thing.
H: He doesn't want that. And we need a guy worse in the Army than
the Navy. First he says Beall isn't leaving; then he says

question is why can't
have the Navy thing?
K: I don't understand why BeLieu wants it more than the otherx.
H: Because he is an Army man and knows where the problems are.
K: How do you mean going to the mat?
H: Saying that we won't send Froehlke up till he agrees on BeLieu.
K: You'll have the bloodiest fight ever on your hands.
H: It might be interesting. He screwed us on Froehlke to begin with.
K: He has screwed us on so many things
