K: You think the Cushman commandant thing is set?
L: If that's what the President wants. It's going to cause a panic in
the Marine Corps. The Marine Chief is the least important of the chiefs
as
far as I'm concerned. If the President wants it this way, that's the way it
should go. It will cause a fight in the Marine Corps. You'11 lose about
three generals right away. They111 get right out of there. But that's okay
too.
