K: I will try to fix it here. On the UN, while we will try for Japanese
sponsorship [typist not sure of this] I don't want to ask for it. Morex we can
avoid ganging up on Chinese the better off we are.
J: I understand. It takes direct handling here. The Secy. will handle it
with Fulluda. He has a sense on that.
K: Should I talk with him on a personal basis? Not as a Presidential
directive.
J: No. Talk with him on a personal basis. We have had this on mind.
K: We want their vote but not necessarily sponsorship.
J: Without their sponsorship to a considerable degree we - w
K: I have heard on the news what demands they will make for co-sponsorship.
J: It's quite clear that the big decisive issuex in politics is China issue and
not economy. Tearing LDP apart.

the major issue in their country. As far as we are concerned it's economics
issue and see Chirep as a subsidiary but it's the opposite in Japan.
