My psychology is that if they simply say khadx they have been

with me, I can understand that but when they start quoting things
I alledgely have said --

appreciated the quote you gave Women's Wear Daily. I thought
the article was pretty appalling but

After what they did to me, I thought it was marvelous. They called
me twice.

It is amazing how many people read that goddamn newspaper.

Do they really?

I got more calls and letters about that than I have gotten on any
other article.
C:
I was just jealous because Gloria Steinman (sp?) gave a better
XXXX quote than I did.
K:
Something like I am the only interesting man in the Nixon Administration
she only knew me as a reporter. I am still fond of her.
