E: I called you this morning. I am going to talk to Dick Helms and
wanted you to know. The President has us going on this declassification
business. The President also wanted the files on the Bay of Pigs, the
Cuban Missile Crisis and Diem. I had a list of things to request of him
on that basis. We had a pleasant lunch and he said he'd be back to us.
K: I wish we could talk a bout this some time. I don't think it's proper.
E: Then let's talk about it.
K: Up to this point it hasn't been improper, but one has to think
about the future. Let's talk about it. Are you going to be on the Alaska trip?
E: Yes.
K: Let's sit together then and talk about it on Air Force One.
E: Fine.
