K: Welcome back.
S: I hope to xxlkx take some leave but if you are interested in a short conversation
I would be glad to accommodate myself to your time. I am planning on leaving
Thursday. We have a formal report to the President that we will send him tomorrow.
K: My staff holds the view that the less I know the better off they are. You will
be at the MBFR meeting on Thurs. ?
S: I tho ught I would kixkx let Phil handle it.
K: That's fine.
S: Going to the signing?
K: I may.
S: Background the press.
K: No. Why?
S: Someone should. No mention in Sunday's papers about the announcement.
Someone here should ginger them up.
K: Cut it out. Maybe we could do it this afternoon.
S: I amsupposed to see Bill at 4:30.
K: I thought I was.
S: I was told he couldn't see meatxxxx at 12:00 because he had to be at the WH but
he would see me at 4:30.
K: Let's have our secretaries get together in the next 15 minutes and set it.
