K: I was talking to the President who is in Key Biscayne and he had
a talk with Home yesterday in which he expressed some concern about the
India-Pakistan situation and the aggressive attitudes of India. He wonders
whether you or Sisco could call in Jha and express sympathy, but tell them
this harrassment has to stop or we will do other things.
I: Okay. What Home
K: He was talking about ships being blown up. He wants to use influence
with the Pakistanis
I: In the political situation.
K: Yes.
I: We can certainly do this and will. The problem is the inability to
control the guerrillas.
K: They are organizing them.
I: I am sure they are in part. In other part they aren't. Fine Henry.
I
K: I suggested we get together tomorrow morning. And I understand that
is your preference.
I: I said I could do it tomorrow or today.
K: I slightly prefer tomorrow.
I: Okay.
K: 10:00 in my office?
X I: Good.
