M: Really?
K: April 14,
M: Good.
K: 14 or 16, not definite yet.
M: That's a beautiful time of year.
K: I'm looking forward to it, if you'11 just defend me against your
colleagues. It's the only public speech I'm giving in my four years here.
Please defend me if someone criticizes me for popping off in public. I'm
looking forward to it very much.
M: So are we; I'm delighted.
K: That's not the reason I called you. I called in order to tell you
about an announcement we are making in an hour, at about 10:99, which we
would like to hold until then. Let me read it to you: [ HK reads statement].
So I am going
a over with mostly technical people and one or two
substantive people. So, it shows things are moving ahead on their side.
