J: No. Armin had to fly to Kushu to tell Sato. He was in the most remote
spot in Japan.
K: I have talked with Albert, Mansfield, Brooke, Ford and Fulbright and Scott
in a moment. Don't want to give him a head start. McGregor calling Aiken and
others and I said a senior State official coming. Mansfield particularly
appreciated that. I talked with Cromer and Dobrynin. He said it's diplomacy
on a grand scale. The Secretary --
J: Did his stints up there.
K: I will give Jenkins the specific mention you suggested. I will let you know
what happens. We will be in close touch. You will know everything we know
immediately.
JI: You are still going at 10:00?
K: Yes.
J: I will listen.
