K: When is the Ambassador coming back?
V: Between the 10thand 15th. Sometime next week.
K: Coinciding with my return.
V: When do you?
K: 12th.
V: On the 12th you promised to be at the opening of our exhibition. 6:00 here.
K: Even if I arrive on the 12th I will be there. I will have a full talk with the
ambassador when he arrives. I want your people to know we are ready to talk
on the positive way on M. E. issue we xxxxxxx raised. Want them to have this
in mind in instructions they will give him for his return. You should see
Phantom decisions in that context. They are not given for free. For you an
your leaderships benefit.
V: Good.
K: I expect that this will be kept strictly confidential and we can review the
situation. About my visit.
V: January.
K: That's a bad month but in principle it's something which we are willing to
do. I will work out something when the Ambassador comes back. We can make
sure it's fully understood by everybody. Not holding up because of other
visits and we don't care if it's known.
V: Will be before?
K: Probably after but I will keep it open until I talk with the Ambassador.
V: That's clear and I will make sure the Amb. and everyone else knows.
K: I am assuming that what your people are saying publicly about alignments
are said for propaganda and not real views.
V: I hope SO but the Amb. can put clearer lines to that.
