K: After message we decided to send me in a X week. In coming to that decision
we thought of others but decided X in a week and no one else ever approved.
DK: Anyone ever told of it? Story told to a diplomat friend of yours?
K: What?
DK: Other intermediaries were considered?
K: I didn't tell the story.
DK: And didn t
anyone.
K: Certainly not. We were not thinking of anyone totally out of govt.
DK: Someone in govt. Message that Chinese willing to receive an emissary
came through diplomat of some sort. Decision made in a week. Others were
not
considered but Inconprivate people. We mentioned one or two experienced
in the field but rejected SO quickly that those not in govt. were not considered.
This is totally ftxxx fruitless.
DK: I will tell you what happened when we are alone together.
K: I have never lied to you.
DK: Yes you have.
K: I misled you by ommission once.
DK: N. Johnson all wet.
K: Total nonsense.
DK: Go with God. Can I visit with you?
K: Next two welks.
DK: Try earlier.
K: 10 days.
DK: next week.
K: I will see if I can do it.
