D:
Hello.
K:
Anatol.
D:
How are you?
K:
OK.
D:
I call you yesterday but you were already resting. I watched your
performance on TV and it was, I should say, quite a presentation
of your point of view.
K:
I warned your friends.
D:
No, no, I think there was nothing to be warned. I think it was a
fair presentation really.
K:
I tried to be constructive. I tried to give them a face-saving way
out.
D:
Yeh, there was nothing particularly
the countries as
an offensive or otherwise. I didn't find anything. Of course
it depends on the point of view. Sometimes
K:
Well, I tried to be reassuring to them that we weren't kicking over
the whole agreement.
D:
Yeh, that's what my impression was.
K:
So actually I thought what I was trying to do was to get it back in
a framework where we could now get it settled.
D:
Yeh, well I don't know. You know
that Mr. Koaygin
and they delivered him officially and informed that North Vietnam and
National Liberation Front
to South Vietnam and their
two Ambassadors in Moscow. The note is
officially
on the 5th or 6th; They publish statement in this connection or
communique in which Kosygin express the hope that the talks on
Vietnam would be continued until the signature of an agreement
ending the war.
K:
Well, that's very good.
