A: I made a muddle when you so kindly called me. I'd forgotten that we
had committed ourselves ages ago to go on Wednesday the 8th to Joe Cal-
ifano's.
K: Oh yes.
A: And I know he'd love to have you if you'd like to go. Be sort of inter-
esting for you all
Democrats the morning after the election.
But how about having quiet supper on Thursday, the 9th.
K: Well it depends entirely on whether the President goes to
well,
I'll almost certainly be in Florida with the President then.
A: You will.
K: Yes.
A: Well then could I come and see you on the 8th?
K: Certainly. Why don't we talk to each other in the morning.
A: The morning of the 8th.
K: Right.
A: Okay. I'll call you first thing the morning of the 8th.
K: Good. Excellent.
A: Lovely.
K: I'll look forward to it.
